The ladle crane is the main equipment in the continuous steelmaking process. It is mainly used for mixing molten iron in the converter feeding span to the converter; hoisting the molten steel ladle to the refining furnace in the refining span or hoisting the molten steel to the continuous casting machine in the molten steel receiving span.
